Reiki is a non-invasive energy healing modality that can help you reduce stress, pain and fatigue, balance and open your chakras and improve your overall health and well-being.
How does Reiki work?
During a Reiki session, energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client, to enhance the client's own energy system.
Every Reiki session is unique, with the practitioner acting as a facilitator that enables your body to determine the best and highest healing intention for you at that time.
Often you will find that the causes of discomfort and dis-ease are not what you immediately thought they were, and sometimes seem totally unrelated to the symptoms.
Reiki aims to treat the underlying cause so that dis-ease and discomfort can be healed at the source, allowing greater opportunity for the problem to be permanently resolved.
What can Reiki be used for?
Reiki can be used to assist clients in a number of ways:
- Reduce stress
- Reduce acute and chronic pain
- Reduce fatigue and increase energy levels
- Assist with chronic and life-threatening illnesses, including cancer and leukemia
- Reduce dependency on and need for medication
- Balance chakras
- Clear and open chakras
- Improve general sense of well being
- Treat illnesses, discomfort and dis-ease in babies and children, including colic and cramps in newborns
- Treat illnesses, discomfort and dis-ease in animals
What can you expect from a Reiki session?
Reiki sessions are non-invasive and non-prescriptive and are undertaken fully clothed.
While sessions can involve the practitioner physically laying their hands onto the client, it is not a requirement. We are happy to accommodate and work with clients who prefer no physical contact.
Is Reiki safe for children and animals?
Children and animals both respond very well to Reiki sessions, as they have fewer 'blocks' and fears around accepting the energy transfer.
As with sessions for adults, these healing sessions can be performed in person or over distance.
For distance sessions we would simply require a recent photograph and the full name and location of the client.
